Harvest time is here and preparation is key as DaddyBair is a busy man from here until...who knows when ?!

*Not a farmer's wife, but my husband works/manages a grain facility a few towns from home! God bless those in the Ag community...not for the faint of heart.

*obviously this meal plan would work for any family, Ag or not - I plan to repeat it later this winter - just to remain organized.

I love to cook but hate coming up with meal ideas on the fly! So this year I decided to meal plan... so far so good!

Disclaimer : I am in two weddings this Fall so weekend meals will be easy - as I'll be gone for the first 4 weekends of harvest... Bachelorette celebrations & the weddings! MrBair will be working & my parents will be helping with our daughter. What a great time to be so busy, ha!

Week one:

Breakfast (daily) :

Canadian Bacon + Egg + Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

Sausage + Egg + Cheese Breakfast Sandwich by Tastes Better From Scratch

These are freezer sandwich options - quick for the hubby to grab and toss in the microwave & eat on the go!

Tip: Wrap sandwich in wet paper towel & micro with towel on to keep moisture in !

Monday :

Lunch - Ham sandwich + Chips + Apple

Dinner - Baked Tortellini + Garlic Bread

This packaged tortellini is available at Aldi !

Baked Tortellini recipe :

1 pound lean gound beef

1/4 cup diced onion

1 package cheese tortellini

1-2 cloves minced garlic

1.5 cups Mozzarella cheese

1 tbsp butter

1 jar alfredo sauce

1 jar tomato pasta sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon oregano

* Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, saute minced garlic & onion in butter. Add beef & cook over medium heat until no longer pink. (Drain beef if needed). Add sauces, oregano & salt & 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Mix ingredients. Boil tortellini to package directions, and drain. Grease 9x13 casserole dish. Spread 1/2 of sauce mixture in the bottom of the dish, add tortellini & layer the leftover sauce mixture on top. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese. Place in oven for 25-30 minutes or until sauce is bubbling. Enjoy! ❤️
